In the COVID 19 pandemic, we all have seen a rise in mental health burden-and Women, being more sensitive are more mentally and emotionally vulnerable.It is mainly because of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Continued health concerns<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Breakdown of support systems due to long-term isolation<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Economic fallout<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Rise in abuse &#8211; twofold rise in gender-based violence<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to manage stress and its consequences?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Identify signs of stress and get in touch with your doctor if you notice<\/strong><ul><li>Too much Fear and worry about your &amp; family\u2019s health\u00a0<\/li><li>Changes in your sleep or eating patterns<\/li><li>Difficulty sleeping or concentrating<\/li><li>Worsening of chronic health problems<\/li><li>Worsening of mental health conditions<\/li><li>Increased use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Take care of yourself -you could do this by coping with the stress<\/strong><ul><li>Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Take care of your body.<\/strong><ul><li>Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate<\/li><li>Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals.<\/li><li>Exercise regularly,\u00a0<\/li><li>Get plenty of sleep<\/li><li>Avoid alcohol and drugs<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy, like a hobby, a good book, a fun board game, a new recipe, a new craft to learn.<\/li><li>Connect with others. Emotions are contagious, so be wise about who you turn to for support.<\/li><li>Be kind to yourself-don&#8217;t have very high expectations from yourself, take it easy.<\/li><li>Maintain a routine as best you can.
